I realized mid-way through writing my last blog post that I'm dropping names to all these people you've never met before... So here is a cheat sheet to my main squad. I don't wanna take up too much time or space so here are just the top 7 - aka everyone I saw Tokyo with :) we will start in the order I met them- although I haven't finished asking for everyones full life story so bear with me)!
Meet Myla:

Myla and I sat next to each other on the bus through Mexico. After spending the full time talking almost non-stop and her not ignoring me and labeling me a freak after pulling out a huge bag of cereal and tying to eating it all before going through Mexican border control, we became close friends. Myla is like my mom friend who loves rom coms but also saw Legally Blonde for the first time on the ship (horrifying I know buts its ok we still love her)! Check us out in Ho Chi Minh City wearing the same shirt on accident :)
Hola Valeria:

Valeria sat in front of me on the same bus through Mexico. She and Myla lived on the same hall freshman year of college at CSU, so they knew each other joining SAS. She is as into water and the environment as I am into Politics and is alway down for a deep talk or "question time with Allison." If you want to know about water and why the ship turns girl's hair green, ask our in-house hydrologist! She is a bomb navigator and planner!
Kelly's Turn:

I met Kelly on the side of the road in Mexico. Ok that sounds bad, we actually met waiting to reboard our bus... But it was on the side of the road so I'm not wrong. Anyway, Kelly goes to Cal Lutheran and has a twin (hi Lixie) who is not on the ship. She is also a trooper, especially when she gets sick in the middle of dinner at a hole in the wall vietnamese place. Kelly is for sure the jokester of the group but is also very down to earth and has a heart of #GOLD (except she thinks the West coast is the best coast which we all know is just wrong...).
Roomie Deanna:

So poor Deanna walked into her room for the first time to a group of 5 girls taking up 3/4ths of the room and talking. Yes, Deanna is my roomie! She is a mermaid from Ohio and spent some time at Coastal in SC before transferring back North. She is an introvert and *low key* shy at first but so so sweet and not just because she doesn't tell me to shut up or clean up my clothes. Blessed to know such a gifted natural redhead who wakes up early with me and loves taking photos. What a queen amiright?

This is Jackie:
If you thought I wouldn't be friends with a poly sci major do you even know me? Jackie is a poly sci communications double at CofC. She is the lively free spirited one of the group who is always pushing me to do or trying something -yes this includes work out at 0645 every morning. Deanna and I met Jackie during orientation with our seas (they are kind of like resident groups we all live on the same halls). After meeting in one of the first meetings, we spent the rest of the day with her and her roomie...
Hey Hannah:

If you didn't get this transition, this is Hannah - Jackie's roomie. Hannah goes to Utah, loves to ski, and can talk to you for hours about anything. Her closet is also to die for I'm in love. She and Jackie live down the hall and every Sea related thing is done together as a group (GO RED SEA) - watch out for Sea Olympics and lip sync! Hannah and Jackie met online before boarding SAS so they sort of knew each other.
